Dr. Nadeem Karkabi is a lecturer in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Haifa. His research focuses on Palestinian performative culture, as well as on the interrelations between language, race, religion, and nationalism among Mizrahi Jews who perform Arabic music in Israel.
