Nikash Harapanahalli (SFS'24, G'25) is a master's candidate in the Asian studies program at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, concentrating on South Asian religious nationalism, conflict, and multilateral diplomacy. Originally from Texas, Nikash is a passionate advocate for interfaith dialogue and advancing queer rights. During his time as an undergraduate at Georgetown, he majored in comparative South Asia-Iran studies and minored in Persian, researching pluralistic governance in India. Nikash hopes to enter a career in public diplomacy working between India and the United States. At the Berkley Center, he is graduate fellow for events.
