Nikash Harapanahalli (SFS'24, G'25) earned a master's degree in the Asian studies program at Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service in 2025, concentrating on South Asian religious nationalism, conflict, and multilateral diplomacy. Originally from Texas, Nikash is a passionate advocate for interfaith dialogue and advancing queer rights. During his time as an undergraduate at Georgetown, he majored in comparative South Asia-Iran studies and minored in Persian, researching pluralistic governance in India. Nikash hopes to enter a career in public diplomacy working between India and the United States. At the Berkley Center, he was graduate fellow for events from 2024-2025.
