Noella Soledad Luponeas has worked since 2009 as a credit assessor at the Teresa Brogan agency of Protagonizar, a microfinance lender in the lower class community of San Miguel, Buenos Aires, Argentina. In her current role, Lugoneas works to search for potential clients and evaluate entrepreneurs before they are able to acquire credit from the organization. She is pursuing a degree in public administration at a local university and worked for the government prior to joining Protagonizar. For Lugoneas, the highlight of her work at Protagonizar is interacting with members of the community, and while she enjoys her work at the organization, she also aspires to one day return to government work.
