Paul Schweitzer, S.J. is an emeritus professor at Pontifical Catholic University in Brazil and also works as the regional ecclesiastical assistant for the Christian Life Community of laypeople in Rio de Janeiro. He has been a member of the Society of Jesus since 1963. Originally from New York, he studied at Holy Cross College and has taught mathematics at Harvard University, the University of Strasbourg, and the Pontifical Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he served as math professor and spiritual advisor for the Loyola Project for Faith and Culture and vocation promoter for many years.
