Father Pawel Brozyniak, S.J., is the director and founder of Kostka Academy, a Jesuit charter school located in a lower-income neighborhood in Krakow, Poland. Father Brozyniak received his master's degree in Education at Loyola University Chicago and, prior to founding Kostka in 2011, taught at a Jesuit school in Sicily, an experience that first introduced him to the administration of Jesuit educational institutions. Kostka Academy is Poland's first public Jesuit school and attracts students from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. In his work at Kostka, Father Brozyniak hopes to encourage students to change their lives through the power of education and a strong community.
