Rajab Assi Kareem is a Kaka'i author, activist, and community leader. Since 2009, he has served as head of the Yarstan Cultural and Social Assembly in Iraq and is a founding member of the Kurdistan Referendum Movement. He also serves as the official liaison and media adviser to the supreme spiritual leader of Zoroastrians in Kurdistan. Rajab translated “Political relations of Mustafa al Barzani and Abdul Kareem Qassim” from Kurdish into Arabic, conducts research for the Masarat foundation, is a member of the Al-Sharq AL Awsat foundation for studies and research, and is an observer of human rights violation in Kirkuk province. He has written numerous columns and essays in Kurdish and Arabic.
