Ramon Harvey is the Aziz Foundation Lecturer in Islamic Studies at Cambridge Muslim College where he teaches Islamic theology. His research interests are in Quranic studies and Islamic theology and philosophy, working in both historical and constructive modes. He is the author of The Qur’an and the Just Society (2018) and Transcendent God, Rational World: A Maturidi Theology (2021). He is also the editor of a monograph series: Edinburgh Studies in Islamic Scripture and Theology. He leads the project Beyond Foundationalism: New Horizons in Muslim Analytic Theology (2020–2023), funded by the John Templeton Foundation, which studies Islamic epistemology in conversation with other theistic traditions. Harvey received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Islamic studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
