Richard Foltz is a professor of religions and cultures at Concordia University, Canada. A cultural historian specializing in the broader Iranian world, Foltz has published 11 books and over one hundred articles. His most recent book is A History of the Tajiks: Iranians of the East (Bloomsbury).
