Robert J. Faucher is director of the Office of Western European Affairs within the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs. He has served U.S. embassies in Brussels, Dublin, Paramaribo, and Luxembourg; previous D.C.-based positions include deputy director for EU affairs and special assistant in the Bureau of Intelligence and Research.
