Dr. Robert P. Jones is the CEO of the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) and a leading scholar in both academic and public policy circles. He co-chairs the national steering committee for the Religion and Politics Section at the American Academy of Religion and is an active member of the American Sociological Association, the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion, and the American Association of Public Opinion Research. Prior to joining PRRI Jones worked as a consultant and senior research fellow at several think tanks in Washington, DC and was assistant professor of religious studies at Missouri State University. He is the author of The End of White Christian America (2016), among others. He holds a Ph.D. in religion from Emory University and a M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
