Roland Chia is the Chew Hock Hin Chair of Christian Doctrine at Trinity Theological College (TTC) in Singapore and Theological and research advisor of the ETHOS institute for Public Christianity. Chia has previously served as TTC's director for the Centre for the Development of Christian Ministry and dean of the Postgraduate School. He has also served as consulting editor of the Trinity Theological Journal and Church and Society, which he founded in 1997; he currently serves as the consulting editor of Cultural Encounters: A Journal for the Theology of Culture. Chia is a member of the panel of Global Experts of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and a lay theologian with the Methodist Church of Singapore. He received his Ph.D. in systematic theology from King’s College, London.
