Samantha graduated from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service in 2014 with a degree in regional and comparative studies, focusing on religion and politics in the United States and Middle East. She participated in the Berkley Center's Junior Year Abroad Network while studying in Amman during the fall semester of 2012. Despite never having taken Arabic before, she took a leap of faith and decided to study in Jordan because of her passions for the Middle East, interfaith dialogue, and adventuring.
