Sandi Villarreal is the web editor and chief digital officer at Sojourners. Her writing often focuses on the intersection of faith, politics, and culture, especially as it relates to the role of women both in the church and in society in general. Prior to coming to Sojourners she worked in book publishing, traditional newspaper journalism, online journalism, and non-profit community development. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science from Baylor University and an M.S. in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
