Sandra Mazzolini is Ordinary Professor at the Faculty of Missiology in the Pontifical Urbanian University, Rome. She is the author of Chiesa e salvezza. L’“extra Ecclesiam nulla salus” in epoca patristica (2008, in Italian) and Concilio Vaticano II in rete, vol. 4: Una lunga preparazione andata in fumo? (2012, in Italian), as well as numerous journal articles and contributions to collected works. After graduating from the History Department of the Faculty of Modern Literature and Philosophy of the Università degli Studi of Trieste, she completed her doctorate in dogmatic theology at Gregorian University. Her thesis, La Chiesa è essenzialmente missionaria. Il rapporto ‘natura della Chiesa’ - ‘missione della Chiesa’ nell’‘iter’ della Costituzione ‘De Ecclesia’ (1959-1964) (1999, in Italian), was directed by Angel Antón and published in the series “Analecta Gregoriana.”
