Canon Sarah Snyder is a theologian from the University of Cambridge serving as the archbishop’s advisor for reconciliation. She also chairs a Bible think tank called the Jubilee Centre and is vice-chair of Christian Solidarity Worldwide. Previously, Snyder was director of partnerships with Religions for Peace International, a UN-affiliated organization supporting religious communities in conflict transformation; she has directed the Cambridge International Summer Schools for faith leaders from conflict zones. She first trained as an anthropologist, working with nomadic communities in northern Mali and Kenya, before joining the Cambridge Inter-faith Programme to bring religious communities together in articulating and understanding their differences. She is the founding director of the Rose Castle Foundation, an international center of peace and reconciliation working to transform faith-based conflict. She was a participant in the International Higher Education Interfaith Leadership Forum.
