Shilpa Rao is an undergraduate student in the Walsh School of Foreign Service, class of 2020, majoring in culture and politics with a minor in French and a certificate in international development. She plans to focus on the intersections of religion, gender, and caste in South Asia. On campus, Rao has facilitated for Leaders in Education about Diversity (LEAD) and written for The Caravel, Georgetown's international affairs newspaper. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and cooking. Rao is a student fellow in the 2017-2018 Doyle Undergraduate Fellows program.
