Sonia Melo Pratti is a
journalist working at the national headquarters for Pastoral da Criança in
Curitiba, Parana, Brazil. She heads the creation of the Pastoral da Criança Journal and collaborates in the direction of Pastoral's weekly public radio program, which focuses on community health developments in
Brazil. Pratti is one of the primary researchers compiling the history of
Pastoral and its founder, Dr. Zilda Arns Neumann. She previously did communications work for the Archdiocese of São Paulo.
