Sophia Berhie graduated from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service in 2014 with a major in international politics. She received an M.A. in human security from Yale University in 2016 and joined the U.S. Department of State as a foreign service officer. She wrote for the Berkley Center's Junior Year Abroad Network while studying in Buenos Aires during fall 2012.
