Brigadier General (retired) Dr. Stephen N. Xenakis, M.D., is an adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist with many years of clinical, academic, and management experience. After retiring from the U.S. Army in 1998, Dr. Xenakis entered an active career in medical technology and clinical practice. He has been featured in the New York Times for his involvement with detainees in Guantánamo.
