Steven Gertz is a third-year Ph.D. student in theological and religious studies at Georgetown University, where he is focusing his study on how sectarian divides influence Muslim-Christian relations. Steve is a research assistant with the Religious Freedom Project and editing a sourcebook on religious liberty in various countries located in North America and Europe.
