Stewart Wallis has been executive director of the New Economics Foundation since 2003. He served at Oxfam from 1992 to 2003 and was awarded the Order of the British Empire for his work. Wallis has held business positions with Rio Tinto Zinc and Robinson Packaging, where he spent five years as managing director; he also spent seven years at the World Bank addressing industrial and financial development in East Asia. Wallis holds an undergraduate degree from Cambridge University and a master's degree in Business and Economics from the London Business School.
