Dr. Tamura Lomax is the Foundational Associate Professor of African American and African Studies at Michigan State University. Her most recent book is Jezebel Unhinged: Loosing the Black Female Body in Religion and Culture (2018). A scholar-activist, Dr. Lomax also co-founded The Feminist Wire, an online publication committed to feminist, anti-racist, and anti-imperialist sociopolitical critique.
