Sister Teresa Palakudy is the chief nurse of the Nyumbani Home, a center for children with HIV/AIDS in Nairobi, Kenya. Palakudy coordinates the medical staff, such as nurses and doctors, and ensures that the children are healthy and that their medicines are properly dispensed. She also oversees disclosure programs that inform children of their HIV status so they can better understand their condition.
