Timothy Loh graduated from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service Georgetown in 2015 with a major in culture and politics while concurrently pursuing a master's degree in Arab studies. His undergraduate degree looked at sociolinguistics in the Middle East, while his graduate degree focuses on deafness and disability in the Arab region. He spent summer 2014 researching deaf education in Jordan as a Lisa J. Raines Fellow. Timothy was also a Carroll Fellow, a member of the Visual Language Visual Learning (VL2) Network at Gallaudet University, and a research assistant for Dr. Yvonne Haddad at Georgetown's Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding. At the Berkley Center, Timothy was a student fellow in the 2014-2015 Doyle Undergraduate Fellows program.
