Tobias Winright is a professor of moral theology at St. Patrick’s Pontifical University in Maynooth, Ireland, and he is an associate member of Las Casas Institute for Social Justice at Blackfriars Hall at Oxford University. From 2005 to 2022, he was an associate professor of theological ethics and associate professor of health care ethics at Saint Louis University. He has edited the T&T Clark Handbook of Christian Ethics (2021), authored Serve and Protect: Selected Essays on Just Policing (2020), coauthored After the Smoke Clears: The Just War Tradition and Post-War Justice (2010, reprinted with a new preface, 2022, with Mark J. Allman), and edited or coedited books on ecological theology and on violence and peace. He was co-editor of the Journal of the Society of Christian Ethics from 2012 to 2017 and currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Catholic Social Thought.
