Tomek Kunewicz currently serves as the director of the Auschwitz Jewish Center, a non-governmental organization founded in 2000 out of the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation with the aim of preserving Jewish memory and educating the public about the Holocaust. The center has been affiliated with New York's Museum of Jewish Heritage since 2006. Kunewicz has served as director since the center's founding. Much of his work focuses on developing educational programs for high school students, teacher, and government employees.
