Vesko Garčević is professor of the practice of international relations and diplomacy at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University. He is a former ambassador of Montenegro in Brussels and Vienna. His areas of expertise include multilateral diplomacy, European security, the EU enlargement and NATO open door policy, democratic transition in Eastern and Southeast Europe, the Western Balkans, and the diplomacy of small states in global affairs.
