William Portillo is the Berkley Center's lead software developer and a member of the Global Communications Group in the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement. He previously worked as a web developer and web content producer for Greater Washington Publishing, a subsidiary of the Washington Post, and as a software developer for an internet start-up. He studied computer science at the College of William and Mary.
