Yvette Keïte Diop is the national secretary-general
of the teachers’ union sponsored by the National Office of Catholic Teaching of
Senegal (Office National de l'Enseignement Catholique du Sénégal, ONECS). She
has held this position for the past ten years, which includes two terms of five
years each. Diop focuses on improving the working and living conditions of the
union’s teachers.
