November 5, 2012

During the 2011-2012 school year, the Berkley Center hosted more than 50 events, launched the Religion, Ethics, and World Affairs certificate for undergraduate students, and published dozens of books, reports, and interviews. This annual report highlights those activities and other work across the center's three main areas of focus: teaching and students, research, and outreach. Major projects included: The Berkley Center Lecture with Jürgen Habermas; a capstone conference to mark five years of collaboration with the Luce Foundation on religion and development; the expansion of the Religious Freedom Project with the support of the John Templeton Foundation; and a partnership with the Ford Foundation to promote dialogue on American values ahead of the 2012 election.
