Author: Drew Christiansen

May 26, 2021

In this article, published by La Civiltà Cattolica, Senior Fellow Rev. Drew Christiansen, S.J., explores Jewish-Catholic dialogue in the twenty-first century. Reviewing an edited volume on a 2015 Orthodox Jewish declaration on Christianity, To Do the Will of Our Father in Heaven, Christiansen highlights areas of similarity and difference between Jewish and Christian commentators—from monotheistic witness to understandings of the Holy Land. The declaration, according to Christiansen, can be said to represent a watershed moment in Jewish-Christian relations.
