The Religious Responses to COVID-19 Project Brief

March 12, 2022

The Religious Responses to COVID-19 Project is a collaboration of the Georgetown University Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs, the Joint Learning Initiative on Faith and Local Community Partnerships (JLI), and the World Faiths Development Dialogue (WFDD). This brief summarizes the work that continues as a collaborative effort. It addresses activities that are part of the project itself, but does not seek to capture a wider range of parallel and related activities by the people and organizations involved, including, for example, continuing collaboration with the WHO, USAID, Religions for Peace, participation in uncounted discussions and webinars, and individual research. Recent support from the International Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development at the German Agency for International Cooperation (PaRD/GIZ) has focused on developing a sustainable project website.
