October 31, 2017

On October 2, 2017, the World Faiths Development Dialogue (WFDD) convened a workshop in Washington, D.C. to discuss the planned report on the intersection of development and religion in Nigeria. The meeting was part of WFDD’s ongoing GIZ-supported research program that will review these issues in five countries, including Nigeria. The consultation convened a small group of leading scholars and development experts who brought diverse experience and perspectives on the complex intersections of religion and development in Nigeria. This note provides a short summary of consultation discussions, organized by the central development issues.
