Pursuing Racial Justice in U.S. Jesuit Education

In summer 2020, Gabby Villadolid (C’21) conducted virtual research at her high school alma mater, St. Ignatius College Preparatory School in San Francisco, California, through the Education and Social Justice Fellowship, a joint project of the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs and the Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching and Service at Georgetown University. Her research focused on the Magis Center for Equity and Inclusion at the school. Villadolid aimed to assist the Magis Center in centering racial justice in their programming, as well as spotlight individuals and communities who have benefited from Magis Center programming.
