Georgetown University students were invited to join a lunchtime conversation with Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting grantee Fred Bahnson; Paul Elie, author and Berkley Center senior fellow; and Ryann Craig, director of student programs and assistant research professor at the Berkley Center. Bahnson and Elie shared about their experiences as religion-focused writers and how their own faith shapes how they see their work.
Students were also encouraged to attend a public event featuring Bahnson later that evening, "Journalism as Witness: Guardians of Memory, Sustainers of Community."
This event was part of the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs collaboration with the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and was co-sponsored by Georgetown University’s Journalism Program.
