Navigating Religion and World Affairs: An Atlantic Forum
The last decade has seen an explosion of interest in the role of religion in society, politics, and international affairs on both sides of the Atlantic. Universities, foundations, and the media have sought to meet this interest through a variety of programs, conferences, and publications. Yet despite all this activity, transatlantic efforts to network expertise and further collaboration have been fragmentary. In an effort to improve transatlantic communication and develop institutional collaboration in this vital area, this forum brought together leading American and German scholars and professionals working at the intersection of religion and world affairs.
This event was convened by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs and hosted by Humboldt University.
