In early March Berkley Center Director Shaun Casey and Senior Fellow José Casanova traveled to Ukraine, where they participated in "Religious Pluralism, Religious Freedom and Challenges for Democracy: Practicing Neighborliness in Ukraine and Beyond," a conference hosted by Ukrainian Catholic University, and met with local religious leaders.
