Ratan Kumar Roy is an assistant professor of the School of General Education at BRAC University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and the director of the International Research Center at SIMEC Institute of Technology, a global research platform for scholars across the world. Dr. Roy’s major research focuses are interdisciplinary research, mediated South Asia, media-culture-society, fandom and transnational culture, and digital and visual cultures.
