2021 G20 Interfaith Forum: Call to G20 Leaders, Priorities and Action
Author: Katherine Marshall
October 21, 2021
The G20 Interfaith Forum met in Bologna from September 12 to 14, 2021, at a singularly troubled historic moment, with the COVID-19 crisis still raging amidst troubling conflicts, humanitarian crises, and widening inequalities. In this policy brief, the G20 Interfaith Forum calls for urgent action to heal deep health, social, and economic divisions. This call reflects the global and distinctive calling of religious and interreligious communities, to give true priority to the most vulnerable among us. As vice president of the G20 Interfaith Association, Berkley Center Senior Fellow Katherine Marshall helped draft and review the recommendations, which are available in full on the G20 Interfaith Forum website.
