Myanmar Situation Report
June 23, 2014
In this situation report for the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, Katherine Marshall argues that the religious dimensions of conflict in Myanmar need to be taken seriously. She first analyzes the historical roots of current tensions before focusing on the plight of the Rohingya, a largely Muslim minority in the predominantly Buddhist country. After highlighting other conflicts in Myanmar in which religions plays a role, Marshall concludes by suggesting four paths towards solutions for Myanmar's interreligious conflicts.
