Jesus Christ in a Pluralistic Age
This course examined contemporary interpretations of Jesus in light of religious and cultural diversity. Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, and Buddhist views of Jesus will be explored, as well as Christian understandings of Jesus informed by interreligious perspectives. The course explored Asian Christian perspectives on Jesus. This course (THEO-091) was taught by Professor Leo Lefebure, Department of Theology, as a Doyle Seminar (small classes that foster deepened student learning about diversity and difference through research and dialogue).
