Environment
Faith communities and interfaith networks are actively engaged around a range of environmental issues, with a strong emphasis on climate change. Pope Francis’s widely-celebrated 2015 encyclical, Laudato Si, has been the focus of particular interest. Since its inception, the Berkley Center has explored environmental issues from diverse interreligious and cross-disciplinary perspectives.
