On February 23, 2010, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs Task Force on Religion and the Making of U.S. Foreign Policy released its final report, which focuses on strategies for better incorporating an understanding of religion into the U.S. foreign policymaking framework.
The task force was comprised of high level and influential policymakers, scholars, constitutional lawyers, and religious leaders. The Berkley Center's Eric Patterson served as the project consultant for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs Task Force, which also included Berkley Center faculty members Jose Casanova, Jean Bethke Elshtain, Thomas F. Farr, and Katherine Marshall.
