In his second lecture within the Nostra Aetate lecture series, Father David-Maria Jaeger, O.F.M. presented a lecture entitled "The Catholic Church and the Jewish State." The lecture focused on the relationship between Catholicism and Judaism, with a particular focus on the politicized Jewish state and its relationship to the Catholic Church. Nostra Aetate (In Our Age) is the "Declaration on the Relation of the Church with Non-Christian Religions" of the Second Vatican Council, promulgated by Pope Paul VI.
