12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. EDT
Location: Healey Family Student Center

Seven miles from the war in Syria, 85,000 Syrians struggle to restart their lives inside Jordan’s Za'atari refugee camp. As the first filmmakers to be fully embedded in a camp, Chris Temple and Zach Ingrasci provide an intimate look at one of the world’s most dire humanitarian crises in their film Salam Neighbor.
Filmmaker Chris Temple visited Georgetown for a screening of the documentary. Following the screening, Temple engaged in a discussion and Q&A with the audience.

This event was co-sponsored by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs; the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement; and USA for UNHCR.
