Ten Years of Laudato Si': Challenges and Hope

A road runs though a green landscape.

As part of the 2025 Jubilee celebrations, the tenth anniversary of Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si': On Care for our Common Home will be commemorated with the conference "Ten Years of Laudato Si': Challenges and Hope." Over three days, the event will reflect on a decade of efforts to implement the encyclical's message and examine future directions for engagement.

The conference is held at the Pontifical Gregorian University and is co-organized by Ateno de Manila University, The Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs at Georgetown University, the Institut de Théologie de la Compagnie de Jésus, the Laudato Si' Research Institute as part of the Integral Ecology Research Network, Loyola University Chicago, the Pontificia Università Gregoriana, and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. It is also co-sponsored by La Civiltà Cattolica and Jesuit "Curia Generalizia."
