David Evan Harris, executive director of the Global Lives Project, a volunteer-based creative collaboration focused on the cultivation of empathy across cultures, came to Georgetown to discuss the effort. The project curates an ever-expanding collection of films that faithfully captures 24 continuous hours in the life of individuals from around the world. It celebrates the diversity of human experience through the study and exploration of culture, status, ethnicity, language, and religion.
This event was sponsored by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace & World Affairs, the Program on Justice and Peace, and the English Department.
