Profile

This individual is not a direct affiliate of the Berkley Center. They work with one or more of our core projects or programs. Please find specific details in the tabs below.

Aarushi Prasad is a recent graduate from New York University Abu Dhabi, where she completed her senior thesis on the landscape of peace education in Israeli and Palestinian high school textbooks. Throughout her time in the United Arab Emirates, she has been routinely involved with the Abrahamic Family House and the Ministry of Tolerance’s various interfaith initiatives. She is a firm believer in the “putting yourself in the other's shoes” approach to dialogue, a belief strengthened through her ethnographic work spanning Tel Aviv and Kampala. When not burdened with academic deliverables, she enjoys constructing crossword puzzles, playing chess, and obsessively organizing her workspace. Starting in the fall, Aarushi will attend law school in the United States to pursue her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, with a focus on international human rights, peace, and reconciliation in post-conflict settings. Aaurshi is a member of the Human Fraternity Fellows Program 2025 cohort.
