Rev. Agbonkhianmeghe E. Orobator, S.J., is dean of the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara University in Berkeley, California. Originally from Nigeria, Dean Orobator previously served as the provincial superior of the Jesuits of the Eastern Africa Province. He holds a Ph.D. in theology and religious studies from the University of Leeds in England, as well as an MBA from Georgetown University. He is the author of Theology Brewed in an African Pot (2008), Religion and Faith in Africa: Confessions of an Animist (2018), and The Pope and the Pandemic: Lessons in Leadership in a Time of Crisis (2021).
