Alexis Lopez is a student at Universidad Rafael Landivar in Guatemala studying international relations and is passionate about transforming education through innovation, particularly by leveraging generative AI to enhance learning experiences. He is a member of the IAJU Global Citizenship Fellows Program 2025 cohort. Alexis’s studies have reinforced his belief in education as a force for social impact, and his work in learning and development has allowed him to apply this understanding in real-world settings. Alexis designs training programs that integrate AI-driven decision-making and foster critical thinking, always emphasizing ethical and inclusive learning. He believes that, when used responsibly, artificial intelligence has the potential to make education more accessible and empower both students and educators to adapt to a rapidly evolving world.
